VISION
To attract, implement and manage multinational investigator-driven clinical trials and other interventional studies.

MISSION
PtCRIN is a distributed nationwide infrastructure integrated in the Portuguese Roadmap aiming to attract, implement and manage multinational investigator-driven clinical trials and other interventional studies. PtCRIN members ensure the efficient implementation of academic multinational clinical studies at a non-profit base following the international ethical and scientific quality standards, increasing research quality and therapeutic innovation for the benefit of patients,replica watches citizens and health care systems.

OBJECTIVES  
The general aims of PtCRIN are the implementation, and organization of a national infrastructure for Clinical Trial Units and capacitation of Clinical Research Centers and Academic Medical Centers following international standards in the development of investigator initiated clinical trials (IICT) in Portugal.  

Specific objectives:
  • Strengthen PtCRIN as a solid infrastructure and national hub for clinical research for the promotion of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) in clinical trials.
  • Promote more efficient implementation of clinical trials by the Clinical Research Centers.
  • Help define the requirements to implement Quality Management Systems in clinical research compliant with ICH-GCP and the national legislation.
  • Develop and organize a national network of Clinical Trial Units/Data Centers of high quality as providers of national and international services in the clinical research field.
  • Increase national and international funds for clinical research and for PtCRIN.
